27-year-old Enrico Bernardo from Milan is the winner of the eleventh
edition
of the World Best Sommelier Award, promoted by S.Pellegrino and Moët
& Chandon.
Currently Chef Sommelier at the Le Cinq restaurant (with
three Michelin stars)
at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, the World´s Best Hotel
according to the renowned Zagat guide,
Enrico oversees a team of nine sommeliers and manages the exquisite
cellar that boasts over 50,000 bottles and 1800 labels
. The cellar, which was begun only four years ago, has already received
the outstanding "Grand Awards" recognition from Wine Spectator (2003).
